My message today is one of thanks and humble gratitude. Many people from Harvard University, National Radio Astronomy Observatory, Green Bank Observatory, and others have been instrumental in support, advice, guidance, and most importantly encouragement. Astronomy Celebration Next 2 Years at Harvard Univ., NRAO, Green Bank Observatory, and Around The World

Greetings to all at NRAO, Harvard, Green Bank Observatory, and lovers of Radio Astronomy: A lot has happened in preparation of next year's celebration and it could not have been done without all of you.   I give you all my heartfelt appreciation.  I wanted to give you an update as to where we are.  Also, I wanted to put "the team" on one email thread originating from PAASE Institute https://about.me/paase   If you know anyone else, I should add to the distribution, please let me know. March 25, 2021 will be the 70th anniversary of  the first detection of radio radiation from neutral atomic hydrogen in the Milky Way at a wavelength of 21 centimeters at Lyman Laboratory of Physics at Harvard University in 1951.  This effort was completed by Harold I. Ewen, Ph.D. and his thesis advisor Edward M. Purcell, Ph.D.  Today, the horn antenna sits at the Green Bank Observatory in West Virginia.  In the following year, Saturday, March 5, 2022 will be the 100th birthday of Harold I. E
